Genmaicha
Houjicha & Genmai

Genmaicha is the Japanese name for green tea combined with ‘Genmai kosen”(roasted and have popped brown rice). For the based green tea,we use Houjicha,Bancha, or other types according to personal or regional preference. As I was born and raised in Kyoto,‘Genmaicha’ is Houjicha and Genmai.for me. In this chocolate,I choose this combination. The thema for this chocolate is ‘pleasant fragrant flavor’. When I use some tea for bonbon chocolats,I add them to decoct. For this tablet, I blend them into chocolate in the form of fine-grained powder that as small as you will whether find a grain in your mouth or not to. To utilize Genmaicha’s potential at a maximum,houjicha,originally is a requid but in this chocolate,you will taste houjicha in a solid.
